For analytics, finance and risk teams
Excel workbooks into readable, tested code. With the proof.
Power Migrate turns a business-critical workbook into pandas, SQL or plain Python, then reconciles every formula cell against the numbers the workbook already holds. Translation is easy to claim. The reconciliation report is what you can file.

FP&A month-end model
2,477 formula cells on 8 sheets.

Three targets
pandas, SQL, Python
The same logic blocks become DataFrame column operations, a chain of SQL steps over typed sheet tables, or one readable Python function per block. Each is reconciled the same way.
How a conversion runs
-
01
Parse
Every sheet, formula, defined name and macro is read from the file. Nothing is sent anywhere.
-
02
Map
A dependency graph over cells and ranges shows what feeds what, which cells are inputs and which are the outputs.
-
03
Group
Formulas copied down a column or across a table become one logic block, so 2,000 cells can be twenty functions.
-
04
Generate
Rules write the code: scalar Python, pandas column operations, or SQL steps over sheet tables. An AI model may name things, never decide values.
-
05
Reconcile
The code runs on the workbook's own inputs and every formula cell is compared with the value Excel stored. The report lists what matched, what did not, and why.
Correctness never depends on the AI step, and anything the rules cannot convert is reported as a clearly marked stub rather than guessed. Read how it works.
Built for governed environments
- Data stays put. The command-line tool runs inside your environment with no upload, no telemetry and no dependency on our servers.
- Your model, or none. Point the optional AI step at your own approved endpoint, or run the deterministic path only. The AI sees formulas and structure, never cell values.
- Every run is auditable. Inputs, library versions, any model calls and every output are logged with the evidence pack.
The beta programme
We are working with analytics user groups who run the tool on their own workbooks and tell us what it got wrong. Mismatches are the most useful thing you can send us.
